Playstar Casino recently announced it has partnered with RLX Gaming to bring a more expansive portfolio of online casino games to the New Jersey market.
Playstar Expands its Catalog
The New Jersey iGaming market has plenty of operators for those who are seeking an online casino experience, and Playstar is one of the Garden State’s many options. The company entered the New Jersey market in 2022 through a partnership with one of the Boardwalk’s nine casinos, Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City.
Playstar recently welcomed RLX Gaming to its platform and will now offer its collection of casino games, including Epic Joker and The Great Pigsby, as well as over 600 other titles.
“RLX Gaming’s entry into New Jersey has been impressive to see, and it has established an outstanding reputation. We are thrilled to integrate an outstanding content portfolio into our offering and bring unmatched experiences to our player base,” said Dan Alexander, COO of PlayStar.
RLX Gaming, a subsidiary of Relax Gaming, entered the North American market in December 2023 through a partnership with BetMGM Casino and has been steadily expanding its alliances with top-rated sportsbooks throughout the North American market, including New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Relax Gaming CEO Martin Stålros stated, “The US market is a key growth region for us moving forward, and we want to build on the momentum we have gained in New Jersey since launching in 2023. Partnering with PlayStar will give our content a boost as we continue to solidify our reputation with the passionate player base.”
“This partnership with PlayStar ensures we are well-positioned to gain even more momentum in the region,” added Stålros.
Play’n Go
Playstar has agreements with several other tech brands, including NetEnt, IGT, and High 5 Game. But the New Jersey-based gaming company continues to expand its portfolio, most recently with software provider RLX Gaming and, shortly before that, struck a deal with Play’n Go.
Popular Play’n Go titles like Reactoonz, Rich Wilde, Book of Dead, Rise of Olympus, Raging Rex 2, and Legion Gold will now be available for Playstar customers.
According to Dan Alexander, PlayStar COO, “Partnering with Play’n Go will allow us to double down on this proposition in the Garden State by enabling us to provide fan-favorite titles like Reactoonz and Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead on our platform, and we’re sure players are going to love discovering what the studio is all about.”
Magnus Olsson, Play’n Go CCO, said “Our current collection of over 360 premium titles includes some of the most-played games of all time, and we’ll be bringing the very best of that line-up to PlayStar over the coming weeks. We’re really excited about this partnership and can’t wait to hear how our titles are received by players.”
In June 2024, PlayStar announced $1.9 million in revenue in New Jersey and is poised to expand its footprint in the future. It has been reported that the iGaming brand will be seeking approval in the Pennsylvania market but wants to build up its portfolio of popular titles before doing so.
